Annual General Meeting 2019

The Friends of the Westbrook & Stonebridge Pond will hold their AGM for 2019 on Thursday, 5th September, 2019 at 7pm at The Guildhall in Faversham.

Do come along to find out what we’ve been doing over the last year and help plan activities for the forthcoming year.

Teas and coffees will be served.

June’s Westbrook Stream Clear

This month’s stream clear will take place on:

Saturday, 22nd June 2019, 2 – 4pm

If you can come along please:

–  join us at 2pm at the green space on Flood Lane, Faversham
–  hear a short welcome, briefing and collect equipment
–  take part in a litter pick and vegetation clear, either in, out or around the stream.

Please also bring strong gloves (waterproof if possible), wellingtons or waders and secateurs, rakes, loppers etc if you have them. WHEELBARROWS in particular are always useful. Please name any equipment you bring.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing new faces too!

May’s Stream Clear

May’s stream clear will take place on:

Sunday, 26th May 2019, 10am-12 noon

If you can come along please:

–  join us at 10am at the the willow tree on Stonebridge Way, opposite Nobel Court
–  hear a short welcome, briefing and collect equipment
–  take part in a litter pick and vegetation clear, either in, out or around the stream.

Please also bring strong gloves (waterproof if possible), wellingtons or waders and secateurs, rakes, loppers etcif you have them. WHEELBARROWS in particular are always useful. Please name any equipment you bring.

June’s Westbrook Stream Clear

Will take place on:

Saturday, 23rd June, 10am-12 noon

If you can come along please:

–  join us at 10am at Curtis Way (the green space next to the          stream opposite Twyman’s Mill/Stonebridge Lodge)
–  hear a short welcome, briefing and collect equipment
–  take part in a litter pick and vegetation clear, either in or out of the stream.

The morning’s activities will concentrate on litter picking before the RHS Judges visit the stream.

Bring strong gloves (waterproof if possible), wellington boots or waders and secateurs, rakes, loppers etc if you have them. WHEELBARROWS in particular are always useful. Please name any equipment you bring.

May’s Stream Clear

Sunday, 27th May from 10am-12 noon
