Diary dates

We try to have a stream clear or work party the last weekend of each month or as close to that as possible. We sometimes vary the day and time to allow different groups of people to come along and depending on availability of organisers.

Stream clears involve work both in and out of the stream, including litter and vegetation clearance. Sometimes we use a punt to assist with this work.

Work parties are carried out as part of our chalk stream restoration work. They centre round the installation of faggot bundles (planted with native species) in the stream bed to create a narrower, low-flow channel and more diverse habitats.
