Maps

At the AGM in September (2021) John Clarkstone gave a presentation on The Westbrook in Maps (and some pictures) – 1774 to Today. The talk showed how much the course of the stream has been manipulated over time as the needs of Faversham changed – from corn and gunpowder mills to watercress beds and housing. The images from this fascinating talk are presented here and are well worth downloading:
